Diagnosis

We comprehensively evaluate and diagnose the deterioration, safety, and durability of structures that support our lives, such as bridges, tunnels, and buildings, based on the physical properties of materials and their appearance. For structures that are diagnosed as needing measures, we compare applicable countermeasures and propose appropriate repair and reinforcement measures.

Crack diagnosis

Cracks in concrete allow deterioration factors such as moisture and oxygen to easily reach the reinforcing steel bars inside, causing corrosion. Cracks caused by structural factors may also require emergency measures.
In either case, repairs will be required according to the cause, so experts such as concrete diagnosticians (Japan Concrete Institute) will estimate the cause of the problem, determine whether repairs are necessary, and propose countermeasures.

Deterioration diagnosis

We perform deterioration diagnosis of civil engineering structures such as bridges and buildings. Based on the results of inspections and concrete tests, we understand the deterioration state at the time of the survey and predict future deterioration.

Design

Based on the environment and conditions in which the structure is located, and the performance required there, we use the survey results to restore and improve the functionality and safety of the structure. To that end, we consider the optimal repair and reinforcement methods, create blueprints, and draw up construction plans.

Earthquake-resistant reinforcement design

Since the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, earthquake-resistant design standards have been significantly revised, and many structures and buildings constructed up until that point do not meet the current standards. In order to prevent collapse in the event of a future major earthquake and to ensure the safety of our lives, we will carry out the following earthquake-resistant reinforcement design.
